Arizona State / UGA Single-Game Tickets: Sold Out
If you were hoping to buy single-game tickets to the ASU/UGA game tomorrow morning at 9AM, you're out of luck. This just came off the ASU Athletic Office wire:
Arizona State University's athletic ticket office today announced that single-game tickets for the ASU/Georgia football game on Saturday, September 20, 2008 are sold out.

There will not be any single game tickets available for sale during the single game on-sale which begins on August 14th, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Single game tickets for the other six remaining home games at Sun Devil Stadium will go on sale on August 14th at 9:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 480-727-0000 or online at thesundevils.com.

ASU does have approximately 3,000 tickets available for sale on a season ticket basis. Season tickets do include a ticket to the Georgia game. If there are tickets remaining after the conclusion of our season ticket sales campaign, those can be purchased on a single-game basis. If available, tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 9th, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
It sounds to me like they're trying to do this in an attempt to bolster season-ticket sales more than anything else. We'll see how it all shakes out.
